What is Counselling?Counselling is a form of self-help with one-way relationship with a professional and experienced counsellor. Together, the client and counsellor explore the issues that the client brings to the sessions. The counsellor looks for any similar situations to the current issues that may have arisen the in the past, including childhood, to look for any similarities or connections, with may give rise to insights to the problem.
What Conditions Can it Help?It can help with low self-esteem, anxiety, panic attacks, loss and bereavement, depression, relationship difficulties etc.
What Benefits can be Expected?By looking at past and related situations to current problems, the clients begins to get a better understanding of the way they react to certain situation, how there might be connected to past events and how these effect present relationships.
The client then learns to make the changes they need to make in their approach to life situations, in their outlook, relationships and within themselves.
